Emma goes to Avignon

Emma has been quite busy since her mom went on maternity leave. This weekend, she went to Avignon, about 2.5 hours from Antibes. While there she visited the Pope's Palace where 9 popes resided starting in the 1300s.

Around Avignon, she visited the
Pont du Gard, an aqeduct built
by the Romans around 50 AD
and Nimes, where she toured a
Roman amphitheater build in 27 B.C!

It was amazing how well preserved
both sites were!

Some relaxation was needed after each exciting day,
so she laid by the pool of the B&B
on the hills just outside of Avignon.

On the way back to Antibes,
a couple stops were made in
St Remy, the birthplace of Nostradamus,
Les Baux de Provence, and Arles

Mommy needed a rest after such a weekend and barely
had the energy to play with Emma's new stroller accessories that arrived upon returning home.
