Well, so far the poll results suggest a birth between the 6th and 10th of June. The doctor as well believes that Emma will be here a bit earlier than planned! This week, we purchased the baby bjorn baby sitter and have perhaps found a flaw in the design as Thomas demonstrates in the video below.

Closer and Closer!
This weekend, we put together the baby bed (generously donated by Emma's aunt Rochelle). We are finding it a challenge to arrange 500 sq ft for us plus Emma, but we are managing! Tomorrow is the final doctor's visit where we should get a better idea of an approximate birth date. Therefore, I have started a poll to see when you think Emma will be born.
For those of you who don't know, Thomas and I are planning to move to Dallas, Texas in August/September of this year. Thomas has accepted an expat position there with Texas Instruments for two years. So, Emma will learn a Texan drawl at a young age.!

Oma comes to France
Emma has been visited this week by "Oma", which is Austrian for grandma! We have had a great time visiting the area, here are some photos from Eze and the Cap Ferrat.
I've had an abundance of energy this week and have been organizing/preparing for Emma's arrival. I have gained over 10 kilo now, but with the great spring weather we've been having, I am sure part of this can be attributed to ice cream and milkshakes!

Emma goes to Avignon
Emma has been quite busy since her mom went on maternity leave. This weekend, she went to Avignon, about 2.5 hours from Antibes. While there she visited the Pope's Palace where 9 popes resided starting in the 1300s.
Around Avignon, she visited the
Pont du Gard, an aqeduct built
by the Romans around 50 AD
and Nimes, where she toured a
Roman amphitheater build in 27 B.C!
It was amazing how well preserved
both sites were!
Some relaxation was needed after each exciting day,
so she laid by the pool of the B&B
on the hills just outside of Avignon.
On the way back to Antibes,
a couple stops were made in
St Remy, the birthplace of Nostradamus,
Les Baux de Provence, and Arles
