The Windy City

We were in Chicago last weekend, where the windy city turned into the snowy city!


But Chicago is still an amazing city in any weather!



Emma and I continued on to Indy while Papa went home where
Emma met Maya and Natasha. She loved playing the older
sister.



And she got to visit with Mommy's friends and various animals!

Vegas, Utah, and home again

We finally took a week of vacation!
We started in Vegas; the city of lights and action, and gambling. I actually won $300 playing craps in just over an hour. I immediately quit while I was ahead!



The luxury suites at the Trump blew us away; even a TV inside the bathroom mirror!



Emma enjoyed her accommodations as well...


Ok...well, she really had a slightly smaller bed...



I thought this kind of advertising would only be found in Texas:



We then drove to Zion and Bryce National Parks in Utah which were beautiful.











We stayed in a wonderful villa and relaxed in the evenings in the private hot tub



Then it was onward to Snowbird for some skiing!


Emma didn't make it out on the slopes, but she did some indoor activities,
helping us pack/un-pack and trying on her ski gear.



Before we left, we checked out Salt Lake city and Antelope Island on the Salt Lake.
There is a bison in the second photo!









Before we left, Emma took her first swim in a pool..





And we found a quicker way to get Emma thru security while heading home..
