Vegas, Utah, and home again

We finally took a week of vacation!
We started in Vegas; the city of lights and action, and gambling. I actually won $300 playing craps in just over an hour. I immediately quit while I was ahead!

The luxury suites at the Trump blew us away; even a TV inside the bathroom mirror!

Emma enjoyed her accommodations as well...

Ok...well, she really had a slightly smaller bed...

I thought this kind of advertising would only be found in Texas:

We then drove to Zion and Bryce National Parks in Utah which were beautiful.

We stayed in a wonderful villa and relaxed in the evenings in the private hot tub

Then it was onward to Snowbird for some skiing!

Emma didn't make it out on the slopes, but she did some indoor activities,
helping us pack/un-pack and trying on her ski gear.

Before we left, we checked out Salt Lake city and Antelope Island on the Salt Lake.
There is a bison in the second photo!

Before we left, Emma took her first swim in a pool..

And we found a quicker way to get Emma thru security while heading home..

All you need is love!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

Emma had a great day with her family and friends with a lot of love (not unlike any other day)

Emma isn't crawling yet, but she is making an effort...
She loves to hold herself up and go for "walks" with us.

Oma (Grandma Moser) is here this month to watch Emma;
She is having a great time (her first time in the US)

Let it snow!

Well, Dallas weather is unpredictable, and we woke up last week to an ice storm. Of course three days later, we were back in the 70s

It was tiring to try and climb over the pillow so close to bedtime...

Some really cute photos...she looks so grown up!

Back to Work!

I have officially reentered the workforce as of January 5, 2009. Grandma Engel has come to watch little Emma this month to help with the transition.

We have found that toys can make good helmets for the occasional fall!

Emma is enjoying all of her Christmas presents!

She loves her books!

And can still give us those looks!
